Born in Colombia, Nick moved to Canada at a young age and has spent the majority of his life in London, Ontario with his family. He earned an Honours Specialization degree in Physiology (2017) and subsequently his MD degree (2021) from Western— all the while competing as a linebacker on Western’s national championship Football team. Under the guidance of an incredibly supportive group at Western, he was immersed in Urology early in his medical journey and fell in love with the breadth of practice and the tremendous ability to impact a patient’s quality of life. Despite an unconventional CaRMs tour, he quickly became enamoured with Team Urology’s excellent surgical training, research acumen, and most importantly their incomparable sense of family.
In his spare time Nick enjoys watching sports, reading books with his book club, staying active, and discovering the beautiful city of Kingston with his wonderful co-residents and friends. He looks forward to spending the rest of his residency continuing his growth as a physician and person alongside a community that has welcomed him with open arms.
